The physical attributes of Oriental short hair breed are extremely playful, attentive and entertaining. They like to be with a companion always. They have skin that is very tender so proper care should be taken at all times. But the muscles are strong and they are very good athletes. They are very mild in nature and behavior. Their colors and patterns are very attractive and the patterns are distributed uniformly which adds more beauty to it.
Vision: The vision of oriental breeds is extremely powerful and sharp. They are superior at night time than during day. They could cover an area of about 200 feet since they have a third eyelid call nictitating membrane for safety.
Hearing: They are very sensitive to sound. They could hear the slightest noises from great distances away. They can hear a high pitch of about 70 kHz. Their ears could pivot to the direction of noise which it occurred from which might be either forward or backward.
Smelling: The capacity of smelling is very strong and fourteen times stronger than a human.
Touch: The structure of vibrissae gives them detailed information about the movements of air, air pressure. As the air swirls so does the vibrissae, the vibration could be easily detected. They are very sensible to the unseen obstruction, if any.
Thus in all aspects they seem to be very attentive and sharp and are very good companion. They should be properly taken care of in order to maintain a healthy life.
